RIP David Carradine

I did not know him personally, but I met him on the set of "Homo Erectus"(now out on DVD as "Stoned Age"). He was very pleasant and chatted with the other actors. I was in a running scene one person away from him to his right. During the setups he would chat and tell jokes. He allowed me to take his picture throughout the day, even after a very long day of filming in cold temperatures and running all day. My condolences to his family. He's another Hollywood Legend who will be missed.

Room of Ghosts now available at Amazon

Mario Morales wrote and directed this short film about "Carol" played by Angela Ware, who suffers from amnesia and believes that she is being haunted by the Ghost of her recently deceased husband "Elliot" played by Steven Chester Prince. The story is an artistic drama about a woman who lives trapped in her own world. She surrounds herself with flowers and pretty colors, but in real life...not everything is what it seems and because of that simple reason not everything should be judged by the way it looks on the outside. Room of Ghosts is an experimental work that explores unconventional narrative and feel.

I worked as crew on this film and have a small part in it as well.

Caricatures

I love to draw caricatures but I don't like overly harsh or exaggerated ones. I don't like mean-spirited ones either. I try to strike a balance between some slight exaggeration and a a reasonable likeness. I hope the subject will laugh and enjoy the exaggeration without taking offense at the image. Mort Drucker is probably my favorite caricaturist and his thousands of works (especially in Mad) have always been a ready-made course of instruction and source of inspiration.
